A Unidade Escolar Doutor Henrique Bello em Cumã, comemorou 55 anos de fundação.  São mais de 5 décadas formando cidadãos e cidadãs para o mundo e expandido conhecimento. O tema da comemoração foi: Nossa Escola, Suas Histórias: Construindo Saberes, Promovendo Cidadania.

Estiveram presentes o Prefeito Osvaldo Gomes; Natanael Trindade – representando a secretária de educação, a gestora Yasmim Cunha, a ex gestora, Gerlice Costa, o secretário de esportes Luziney Maia, além de funcionários e gestores da escola.

A história da escola, contada por moradores mais antigos do povoado, conta que Cumã não possuía escola própria, apenas salas nas residências e na igreja onde os professores davam aula. O prefeito da época, Antônio Tavares comprou uma residência onde a escola funcionou por um tempo, educando as crianças e jovens da comunidade. Porém, em 1967 foi construído com recurso do Governo do Estado o prédio escolar que recebeu o nome do Dr João Henrique Belo em homenagem ao Deputado da época, que funcionou durante 35 anos sob a gestão estadual. Após isso, com a lei de municipalização a partir de 5 de Abril de 2002 a escola passou a ser administrada pelo município e em 2008 o estado solicitou o prédio para o funcionamento do anexo do Ensino Médio na comunidade devido à falta de espaço físico.

“Hoje é um dia especial para a comunidade de Cumã, pois a escola mais importante de sua história está completando 55 anos de presença da educação de pessoas neste lugar. 55 anos formando cidadãos e cidadãs para o futuro. Nos orgulhamos de fazer parte deste momento”, disse o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes.

“Aqui nós construímos nossas histórias, nossos saberes e contribuindo para o conhecimento e o futuro que queremos para as nossas crianças e adolescentes”, disse a gestora da escola Yasmim.

A prefeitura de Guimarães através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, realizou o Pacto pela Educação nos eixos Alfabetização e Educação Infantil. O evento teve duração de 4 dias e aconteceu acontecendo no auditório Leda Tajra e tem por objetivo levar novas estratégias que auxiliem o professor como trabalhar a alfabetização dentro da sala de aula.

O município de Guimarães esteve presente na Feira do Empreendedor do Sebrae 2022. Participaram da feira, o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes, o secretário municipal de Cultura e Turismo Antônio Marcos e as colaboradoras Danielle dos Anjos e Aline Cristina.

O microempresário Anilson Louzeiro e os condutores de Turismo de base comunitária de comunidades quilombolas Creusilene da Conceição-Cumum; Jéssica Rabelo- Caratíua; Alexon Martins-Damásio participaram da feira como expositores no II Encontro Maranhense de Turismo de Experiência, apresentando os atrativos naturais e culturais existentes no circuito Quilombos de Guimarães.

A feira durou quatro dias e teve exposição e conhecimento, com muita informação, inspiração, ideias e oportunidades de negócios e de aperfeiçoamento das habilidades empreendedoras dos maranhenses.

Guimarães participou da feira no estande do Polo Floresta dos Guarás, onde levou produtos oriundos do artesanato em crochê e de bordado de bumba meu boi trabalhados por grupo de mulheres artesãs em oficinas de criatividade na Sala do Empreendedor. No estande, que foi muito visitado, representantes dos 10 municípios que fazem parte do polo se fizeram presentes.

A Feira do Empreendedor estava há algum tempo sem acontecer, devido a pandemia da Covid-19, mas voltou com força total para trazer novas formas de empreender, consumir, promover sua marca, seus serviços, estabelecer conexões, parcerias, fechar negócios lucrativos e sustentáveis.

Creusilene, uma das participantes da Feira, que participou da divulgação, destacou que o evento foi importante para que mais pessoas tenham conhecimento a respeito do Turismo de Base Comunitária realizado em Guimarães.

“Agradecemos pela prefeitura de Guimarães que tem interesse em divulgar nosso trabalho para que a gente tenha mais pessoas lá nas nossas comunidades. Para que possamos receber mais turistas, mostrando nossa culinária, artesanato e as belezas naturais que dispomos”, disse ela destacando.

O Consultor do Sebrae que representa o polo de Guimarães, Marcelo Medeiros destacou que trabalha em duas frentes de artesanato no município, em que uma delas é o crochê mediante a perspectiva da parceria com as linhas Limol que são as linhas portuguesas, onde o secretário Antônio Marcos procurou o SEBRAE para que pudessem desenvolver uma coleção de produtos com essas linhas.

“A partir dessa perspectiva nós encontramos uma coleção de peças com um pouco mais requintadas onde se misturando com o tecido né e alguns exemplares estão expostas aqui”, disse o consultor.

 A outra frente de artesanato citada por Marcelo, é o bordado que tem o bumba boi como inspiração.

Desenvolvemos uma coleção de produtos que podem ser comercializados ao longo de todo o ano e não apenas no período da festividade, tais como: porta-moeda, bolsinha, marcador de texto, chaveiros, terços entre outros”, finalizou.

O secretário Antônio Marcos Gomes que é Presidente da Instância do Polo Floresta dos Guarás, destacou que a participação do município de Guimarães em uma Feira desse porte, onde pessoas do Brasil todo participam faz com que o Turismo de Guimarães rompa fronteiras.

“Trouxemos aqui o nosso Turismo de Base Comunitária e o artesanato feito também por artesãos e artesãs das comunidades tradicionais e quilombolas. Tivemos apresentação dos trabalhos dos nossos Condutores de Turismo que conseguiram se destacar nacionalmente, então isso nos enche de orgulho, por saber que estamos no caminho certo e que o Turismo de Guimarães está superando obstáculos e se tornando mais forte”, disse o secretário.

A Prefeitura de Guimarães através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, durante dois dias, realizou na Unidade Mais Integral Mateus Avelar (UMI) Polo Prata, o acolhimento inicial para a chegada dos alunos que irão estudar no ano letivo de 2022.

Na ocasião, o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes participou da solenidade, juntamente com a Secretária de Educação Marinilde Machado, do gestor geral Almerino José, da gestora pedagógica Fihamma Abrantes, da supervisora pedagógica Nádia Mirelle, das articuladoras do Mais Integral Silvia Cristina e Ana Lucilia e os professores que irão ministrar as aulas.

A equipe de JPs (alunos do campus IEMA- Cururupu), através do corredor humano, recepcionaram os estudantes com música e alegria.  Cada aluno recebeu uma pulseira com uma definição de cor e foram apresentados os professores, gestores e articuladores da UMI Matheus Avelar.

O professor Nédson Coelho Ribeiro realizou uma palestra sobre a U.M.I e como é fazer parte de uma escola em tempo integral.  

Os alunos, em dois dias do acolhimento realizaram atividades cujos objetivos foram: proporcionar a integração e o relacionamento interpessoal entre todos os estudantes; destacar a importância do cumprimento de regras de convívio entre os estudantes; estimular a reflexão sobre si e incentivá-los a acreditar nos seus sonhos.

“A administração municipal investe pesado na educação de sua gente, essa é uma das nossas maiores prioridades. Por isso, implantamos aqui essa escola Mais Integral que vai atender alunos do 6º ao 9º ano dos povoado de São João, Santa Rita, Ceará, Lago, Boa Esperança, Recanto, Maçaricó e toda essa região. Neste novo momento, estamos investindo nas nossas crianças para que no futuro elas se tornem pessoas realizadas, pessoas que sejam empreendedoras da sua vida”, destacou o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes.

Na manhã de ontem, 15 de março de 2021, aconteceu no Ginásio Poliesportivo José Ribamar Camargo em Cumã, o I Fórum Comunitário do Selo Unicef de Guimarães. O evento foi uma ação conjunta de todas as secretarias municipais, Conselho Tutelar e do CMDCA (Conselho Municipal da Criança e do Adolescente).  Teve por objetivo reunir a sociedade civil e o poder público para este momento de planejamento participativo, troca de informações e diálogo entre diversos membros da comunidade sobre políticas públicas municipais voltadas para crianças e adolescentes; discutir e apresentar propostas de estratégias e ações para o Plano de Ação Municipal pelos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente, que será executado ao longo da edição 2021-2024 do Selo Unicef no município.

Na ocasião do evento, estavam presentes o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes, secretários municipais, representantes do CMDCA, Conselheiros Tutelares e representantes de entidades.

O prefeito Osvaldo Gomes disse que:

“O I Fórum Comunitário do Selo Unicef é importante porque reúne a os adolescentes, a juventude com as instituições e o poder público discutam políticas efetivas para o futuro das nossas crianças e adolescentes. Este momento é importante que consigamos o Selo que tivemos de 2017 a 2020 e vamos trazê-lo de volta mostrando sua importância para que possamos diminuir ou excluir as desigualdades”.

Para a coordenadora do CMDCA, Joyce Anne Moreira, o evento é de fundamental importância para a união dos poderes, instituições e sociedade na busca por igualdade e garantia de direitos das crianças e adolescentes.

“Reunimos diversos setores para realmente discutirmos as políticas públicas voltadas para as garantias de direitos dos nossos protagonistas que são as crianças e os adolescentes, direitos esses que, especialmente ultimamente, vêm sendo bastante violados. Precisamos trabalhar com muita união para que a busca ativa escolar, a vacinação, o nascimento, e todos os demais direitos sejam respeitados”, disse.

“Este é um trabalho intersetorial, onde todas as secretarias são envolvidas. E que se pensa em cada dia melhorar mais a educação, a saúde e a qualidade de vida das nossas crianças e adolescentes do nosso município”, disse Alice Sá, Articuladora Municipal do Selo Unicef.

Os alunos das escolas municipais receberam a visita de Maria Firmina (interpretada por Adriana Alves) e ouviram mais sobre sua vida. Houve ainda recitais de poesias, exposições de livros, e houve a live no Facebook: “Elas cantam e contam Maria Firmina”.

Maria Firmina dos Reis foi a primeira romancista negra do Brasil. Nasceu na Ilha de São Luís, no Maranhão, em 11 de março de 1822 e morreu em Guimarães/MA, no ano de 1917. Em 1859, publicou o romance “Úrsula” considerado o primeiro romance de uma autora do Brasil. Em 1887, publicou na Revista Maranhense o conto “A Escrava”, no qual se descreve uma participante ativa da causa abolicionista. Parte da sua história de vida ocorreu em nossa cidade, onde ela escreveu grandes obras.
Foi ela, que fundou em Maçaricó, uma escola mista e gratuita para alunos que não podiam pagar.

Maria Firmina dos Reis participou da vida intelectual maranhense: colaborou na imprensa local, publicou livros, participou de antologias, e, além disso, também foi musicista, compositora e folclorista.
