Nesta quinta feira, 9 de dezembro de 2021, houve o encerramento da Campanha dos 21 Dias de Ativismo Pelo Fim da Violência Contra a Mulher. Com muita animação, mulheres vimarenses se reuniram no Ginásio Poliesportivo Rubem Teixeira Goulart para um aulão de ritmos promovido pela secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social e Desenvolvimento Comunitário. O aulão foi comandado pelo educador físico Senilson Cardoso e pelo professor de zumba Zoca. A psicóloga Tereza também animou o momento realizando dinâmicas com as mulheres.
O evento contou com a presença do coordenador do CREAS Itenilson Maia, da coordenadora de Igualdade de Gênero e presidente do Conselho Municipal da Mulher Augusta Nogueira e demais colaboradores da equipe de assistência.

Praça dos Sagrados Corações ganhou uma academia ao ar livre, mais saúde para a população

A Prefeitura de Guimarães instalou nessa semana, mais uma academia ao ar livre. Serão 6 equipamentos a disposição da população na Praça dos Sagrados Corações. Esta é a segunda academia instalada em praças. A primeira foi inaugurada no último dia (6), na Praça da Bíblia em Cumã. 

A academia tem como objetivo incentivar jovens, adultos, idosos e comunidade em geral a praticarem exercícios físicos e melhorar a qualidade de vida. É composta por equipamentos básicos de baixo impacto físico, como remada, caminhada e entre outros.

Para o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes, as implantações das academias ao ar livres são importantes para que a população em geral possam se exercitar de forma gratuita e melhorar a qualidade de vida e fazer com que os serviços e equipamentos públicos sejam acessíveis a todos os cidadãos. 

“A entrega dos equipamentos é voltada para atender todas as idades e nos permite avançar cada vez mais no objetivo de cuidar das pessoas, assim como propõe a nossa gestão: Eu amo, eu cuido!” ressaltou o prefeito Osvaldo Gomes.
